Kimberley White Water Women

"THE STORY

Australian Adventure of the year Tanya Faux ventured into the remote regions of the Kimberley to successfully lead a team exploring three pristine river systems and raising awareness of the “Save the Kimberley” Campaign.
In 2012 Tanya will lead an ALL WOMENS EXPEDITION into the Kimberley. It will be the first EVER all womenʼs river expedition attempted in Australia! The longest whitewater river expedition ever attempted in the world by a team of women!

The LADIES will explore the ISDELL and CHARNLEY RIVER systems during the most violent and hostile cyclone season. These women are inspired by adventure, dream adventure live and work adventure. We want to share this world breaking moment to inspire other women to believe in there dreams and get into the great outdoors!
The main quest is to continue to share our passion for keeping the Kimberley one of the five true wilderness areas left in the world, working along side the “Save theKimberley.com”. "

Hi Girls, was at the VOEA conference as loved the talk you gave. I spoke to the two of you at the end of the presentation regarding some limited sponsorship. Still looking into this - as I said at the time my company is only 8 months old - but I hope that I can help. I am currently trying to initiate a very exciting project that hopefully will emabrace all of the Adventurer community. Time will tell here - however, i am sure that you are chasing all angles of sponsorship and that you will be fully aware of the Australian Geographic's Nancy Bird Walton Sponsorship. (Link on the AG website) look forward to seeing your website - let us know when its up on info@gxso.com.au)
